Unique design features allow visitors to get closer to the animals than ever before

There are loads of activities and the price of entry even includes a ride on the train through the Llama paddock.

There is a wide range of low level viewing and imaginative animal displays that allow even the youngest visitors the opportunity to see and meet a wide range of animals from all over the world, living in cleverly designed naturalistic settings.

Visitors can hang out with the amazing Rodrigues Fruit Bats in a specially designed walk-through enclosure, just one of the many interactive attractions at Drusillas Park.

Drusillas makes sure that visitors will continue to enjoy their visits by employing a second board of directors made up entirely of children.

Special activities include:

• The Bat Cave where visitors can get the low down on British bats and the importance of conservation, or simply hang about with the amazing Rodrigues Fruit Bats in a walk-through enclosure.
• The Wacky Workshop where visitors can make masks, mobiles or plaster animals before having a face paint
  
• The mini mine where visitors can pan for gold
  
• The Play area where an acre of adventure land has been set aside for kids to go crazy at the end of the day. Packed with slides and swings, ropes and climbable things, there's even an indoor Play Barn for wet weather days.
  
• The special indoor and outdoor area is reserved for toddlers.
  
• New for 2001 - Crazy Critters Golf!!

Getting there
Rail: Berwick Station (Victoria-Eastbourne line).
Road: M23 towards Brighton, turn off to Lewes and take A27 to Drusillas.
Free parking.

There is wheelchair access throughout park.

The Southeast England Tourist Board have named Drusillas Park the winner of the Millenium tourist awards as visitor Attraction of the year.
